Same here was not ready for the primer problems. My local dealer , a major dealer i will add , says could be up to a year before he sees his primers. Maybe they should ban golf balls?????

tokimini howdy neighbor mendon ny, I was looking to do the samething with my model 12 savage, rebarrel it to a 204 match, keep us posted on how it shoots

I agree 100 percent, you have way more knowledge for sure, I do almost the same prep , but no power prep tools for me, still in the manual mode. Thanks for the input!!

That is my feeling exactly, why wreck a good formed piece of brass fl sizing it after you just formed it. like you say a pass with the body die and you are back at it if the bolt gets sticky. Thanks for the answer

I have been reading way to much!! Something I have read quite often is after sizing then loading new or fire formed brass they are saying after shooting they run the now fire formed brass back through a full length sizer die. Why??? After shooting brass is now formed to your chamber, now I am talkin...

Hi i have had great luck with the 32 or 39 sierra blitzkings, either shoots great out of my savage 204. i find for accuracy varget with the 32s and imr 4895 with the 39s.there are better powders for volocity i just have not got there yet to try themyet, you will have to work up loads for your rifle ...

how long you been married??? for my 10th anniversary i told her i looked it up for what i should get her for the ten year anniverdsary and i swore it said fiberglass, so I got her a new boat!!! thanks for the info, any 39-40 gr bullet seem to do a better job on chucks, v mav, blitzkings, bergers (35-40 gr.)

Jerry nice to hear abut the bergers , another option to try. I am impressed with Ricks pics, and he has a super looking rifle. thanks Rick, I am new to this 204, i have 6brs, and 223s so far this little 204 has been a blast to shoot. I am still working up loads, 32 bks are almost there, just starting with the 39s. Beautiful rifle you have, I have a model 25 savage, for now but after shooting the 204 i do have a saveage mode...
