Re: Winchester Ammo

New Shooter welcome, I had some trouble about like your haveing when i got my 12fv. What i did was polish the sides of the little ears that hold the bullets in the mag. I'm not sure thats whats going on with your gun. But it's some thing you can try! Let us know what it is when you get it fixed up ok.

Re: CZ or Remy - which one is better?

But i haven't been able to get out to shoot it yet. I also have two 243 rifles i have seat at 1pound 4oz. for hunting remingtons rifles. So most of the...

Re: first time bedding a rifle

Nevadamatt, acloco is right on the money on why you should do a bedding job on a gun. There really not that hard to do once you have done one. One thing a guy told me to try. Is takeing two 3 inch bolts cut the heads off them and put enough tape around then so they stell go through the stock. This w...

Re: trouble finding good load

bohe, You didn't say how much h4895 you were useing with the 35gr. berger bullets. My load is up at 28.1 grs. of powder for the 35gr. bullet witch gives a real nice group. And most of the 204s like that big jump to the lands. I'm useing a seating of 2.263 oal. I tryed seating out long but this is wh...

Rick, congratulations on your deal with battenfield technologies with your shooting bench. You got any thing new in the works going on now? Or is it just on to the rat fields for now and good times.

But go to the favorite load page and you'l see alot of load's the guys have tested out and liked on the reloading page. Hope that has...

Re: WS2 info

Sidewinderwa, I'm shooting a 12fv with a pretty rough barrel. And the ws2 made it shoot like a new gun. Now i use it for about 5 other guns i have. It's pretty easy to coat your bullets with. It's smoe pretty good stuff.

First thanks Rick and acloco for your advice on the Brownell accura glass kit. Thats what i used on my 204 for bedding and it turned pretty good. So good that i just got my old bv 223 savage cleaned up and put back to gether last night from bedding that stock. I did finely brake down and got a caldw...

Re: 40 Berger vs 40 Nosler vs 39 Sierra?

Crash, I shoot both the 35gr and 40gr berger bullets in my 12fv. The 35gr bullet i use h4895 and the benchmark powder really made the 40gr bullet give up some nice groups. I played around with the 39gr sierra but really didn't do a good testing with them. I may go back and try the sierras agine some...

Re: Wally-World to create gun buyers database

Well guys don't think Wal-Mart is the only one doing this to every one. About two weeks ago on the news there was a story about a guy that was buying some ammo from Gander Mountain. And a day or so latter the ATF broke in to hes house when he was gone some place. I haven't seen any more about this o...
