Re: Bullet drop-39gr Sierra

A bit more drop. I think  I can handle the scope turrets now, and not hold off. A Simmons Whitetail Classic, 1/4" clicks. On 100yd at zero, up 1.6" (3 clicks) at 200yds, then up 17" (4 clicks) at 400yds. Does this sound close? Thanks again. Ron.

Bullet drop-39gr Sierra

Just shot a match today. Wasn't aware of format, yardages, etc. so didn't get to sight in earlier. Shot 10 at 200yds, then 5 at 400 yds, then 5 at 100yds. I was set up for 200yds so didn't do too bad. At 400 yds, I shot about 12 rounds, with aim point from 30" hi to 4" hi, and couldn't see...

Re: Case Trimmer

I don't have a collet trimmer, would rather not buy one, since I have two Wilsons, which work much better, IMHO. Seems Lee makes 2 trimmers, a lock nut, pilot, cutter, and also a zip trimmer. Which one do you have, broper? Happy new year.

Re: Case Trimmer

I have two case trimmers. One is Wilson for .308W, etc. and one is smaller, for ppc, 222, etc. The small one has a H surrounded by a circle (looks just like a Wilson). Neither one has a pilot, and they are both older than dirt  My 222 case holder will work for new 204 brass, but not for fired o...

Case Trimmer

Have shot my model 12 Savage and Rem cases about 3 times. Cases are max at about 1.848". Chamber length spec shows about 1.862". Does this sound right? Anyway, was trying to trim them in my Wilson case trimmer with 222 R case holder and fired cases would not protrude enough. Had a Lee case...
