Re: Two coyote mornin'. That's good in GA!
Bullfrog, Yes, both coyotes were locked on the JIB. I have built a couple of home made decoys and had good luck with them but the JIB is built very dependable and I like having control of the motion with the remote. The coaxer sound in the JIB is great. Steve, Sence having the 3.3 software installed...

Re: Two coyote mornin'. That's good in GA!
Love the savage after a little custom work. The grip was so big in my hand I took some wood out to get some clearance for my trigger finger and some moulded fingergrips then took out some more to have a palm-swell. You can't beat out of the box accuracy for the $. It's killed every coyote I've shot ...

Two coyote mornin'. That's good in GA!
Met a man this past spring that coyotes killed two of his Jack Russels at the same time. The only problem was entering his property would be upwind of the area. Did some homework and found out who owned downwind and got permission. Just this mornin' got around to going after 'em. Second stand of the...

Re: 204 or 22-250
steam= downrange energy The 40 grainers with B.C.'s like .239 & .275 have 500+ ftlbs past 350 yds still shooting very flat trajectory. The 32gr with a B.C. of .185 movin' 4250fps at muzzle has 505 ftlbs at 275 yds. (The 500 is my cutoff # on coyotes. I've killed 40 and 45lb coyotes here in GA) G...

Re: 204 or 22-250
Wrz Waldo,
That info shows where the 40gr .204 shines with that great BC. The 32gr at muzzle of 4250fps runs out of steam fast. That's what most people think of when you say .204. Great info! I shoot 40gr Noslers at 3850fps.

Savage 12VLP. Kinda heavy for a carry gun, but it's never let me down shootin' coyotes.

I got my FX3 upgraded to the FX5 and it's worth every penny to me. I have 82 sounds loaded so far. With the 4 presets I can choose my four sounds that are just right for the setup and their volume and set it up quickly without turning the caller on. Or when calling I can alternate between two sounds...
