AR 204 Upper

For those who have a DPMS 204 upper, do you feel it is a very heavy upper or not too heavy ? Thanks.

Re: Scope height question

I had the same problem with my rifle, but i used a cut piece of credit card under the base. It has worked perfect for over a year.

This is a 200 yard group from a 243 WSSM he built for me. The flyers are from getting settled in to shoot.

Re: Can't get the Carbon out of my barrel !

Use either Kroil and let it soak or Slip 2000 choke cleaner. Kroil soaking overnight and a nylon brush will amaze you.

34 gr Dogtown on coyotes ?

Any comments? I wouldn't think you would get much penetration with the bullet.

Has anyone ever seen a picture of Brezny wearing a smile ? He always looks like he is in agony. Maybe his feet hurt from all that walking he might do.

I just tried some CMR100 powder I bought from Jeff Bartlett a few years ago, 8 lbs and it shot well with that load and Dogtown bullets, the powder is no longer available. Here is a group I shot at 100 yrds while breaking in my L-W barrel. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d21/Yotecallr/DSCN20880001F...

What barrel twist ?

What is the best barrel twist for the different bullet weights ? I'm buying a Lothar Walther barrel as soon as they are available but don't know the best twist. This would be for calling in coyotes. Thank in advance.
