Hi bazz, I started using BM 8208 about 3months ago but only in my 308win….. It comes in a 1kg pack and cost me $80 bucks, It has the same kernel size as BM-2, and the burn rate fits between 2206H and Bench Mark 2. You could start with
32 gr V-MAX
29.0 grs CFE 223 for 3825 fps
Max load 30.9 grs for 4090 fps
IMR 8208 XBR will give similar speeds to CFE 223, either powder would be a good choice for the 204-R

The 6mm PPC is like any other cartridge and can be easily made from Lapua 220 Russian brass (recommended). Norma and SAKO make factory-formed 6PPC brass and this may be a better option for you as it saves fire forming. even fire forming loads have amazing accuracy. A good supply for brass is Bruno S...

The ring was when i fire formed some of the brass, i should have jammed the bullet harder into the lans.a ring in the brass a little ways up from the base.
iv switch to false shoulder method now, and im getting perfectly formed ackley brass
