I have a Nikon 6-18 buck masters which I do like. It has the BDC reticle and target knobs and side focus. However last year I got a VX-2 6-18 with the cds dial and I love it. Very clear and bright and good contrast for finding the small nor cal squirrels. I love it so much I just ordered another one...

I shoot my 204 in an encore, and my dad his 17HH and 22-250 in an encore also. I agree with you, but as we know magnums sell. Magnummania takes away from other cartridges that may be deserving of being legitimized I think.

Remington recently dropped the 17 fireball, and are doing nothing to support the ones they already sold with ammo or brass. Seems that they aren't doing much to support the 221 or 17 rem either. I doubt they'd be anxious to legitimize a new cartridge that is so similar to one they just dropped, or o...

My dad got a VX2 a month that he really likes. He was looking at getting another and noticed msrp on leupolds site went up over $100.

I use let if fly and it jives with the numbers my dad uses from Bergers calculator online. I wish it would let you type in the numbers instead of the sliders though. Otherwise I love it.
