This thread will be my teaser to some range pics tomorrow. Finally have my 700 back from the shop after getting my reamer from Pac. Tool. Got the barrel turned in and chamber reamed and lapped, action squared. Pre-surgery I had her out to 500yd weekly so it will be interesting to see the results of ...

my reamer finally arrived
Pacific tool built my reamer to 3.2". I'm stripping my 700 tonight and should have a custom action in a week !! I'll report back with results

I have the comparator, measured my rem700 .204 and had the bullet fall out of the mod. brass. I definetly gather that nearly all .204 factory rifles are deep throated. My opinion-unless you get a reamer built to your desired dimension just find your load and let it fly. heck, my rifle has significan...

Are you trying to make a five shot group with a cold bore? Might load a few hot rounds to run first then start grouping. Also, cut that orange dot into four pieces and shoot

Well, i'll throw in my two cents...Neck sizing brass made a noticable difference in my .204 especially after the brass had been around awhile. I full length brass only once and then neck size until the brass is toasted. Also, if you dont know what twist your barrel is you could be shooting a imprope...

Oh yeah, those are some nice groups...The forty grain bergers are my go to for bench and varminting. They truly are a match grade round
