I just got a LRPV with the 6 oz accutrigger, I started adjusting in and its probly around 8 oz right now, but Im a bit confused. I know if a trigger gets to light and is jerked it will go off. and thats kind of what this gun is doing. but i thought I read somewhere that the accutrigger will stop its...

Thanks guys. now I have a few questions about bases,
Is the LRPV a round or flat reciever?
I assume a 6BR is short action (im not super familiar with the cartridge)
Would you go with one or two peice bases?

I have a few qestions for you guys with LRPV's. First are the new LRPV coming with fluted barrels? Secondly, how is the 6 ounce trigger? Creep? any help would be appreciated.

6mm BR
I am looking for a gun with a little punch, something to get out to about 600 yards. Im just going to use it for fun shooting but I want to make it a good shooter. I was thinking a savage LRPV in 6mm BR with a leupold VX-3 8.5-25-50. How hard is it to reload this caliber?

A VX-3 6.5x20x40 would be a great choice. the new models are out now for around $800 but there are probly still a few of last years models around for a lot cheaper. I know a month or so ago they were selling last years VX-3's for around $100-$200 off.

Yes But it doesnt have it in the catolague and the its not on the main remington website..you have to search it to get the link. So my question is did they discontinue it or slow down the production?
