I'll start...Factory custom class
As I had told Skipper, my target was fired just a couple days after receiving it. I guide archery elk hunters, and I had to have my target completed before clients arrived on August 30th. So the preceding Thursday after work I took the target out to shoot. I work four ten hour days at my regular job...

Thanks for everything Skipper.
Whew, low .2's. That's approaching benchrest quality. My hearty congrats to all who participated. Good showing indeed.

Re: Dog Food As Yote Bait
A favorite ploy around these parts for heavily pressured 'yotes, is as follows. Take an old deer hide and a couple cans of creamed corn. Mix red food coloring in with the corn. Lay the hide out, and pour the corn around and on the hide. This attracts ravens, magpies, etc., all of which make quite th...

Re: How to choose your Redding Neck-sizer bushing?
Measure the neck thickness. Take that measurement X 2. Add in the bullet diameter. That will be your loaded size. Subtract .002-.003 for your bushing size. It is best to order a few sizes. Let's use your .223 as an example. Say your brass neck thickness is .013. .013 x 2= .026 Add your bullet diamet...

Re: Will you accept the challenge?
I'll shoot under any rules against any gun. The results will be mine to live with. +1 :wtg: I've never been for putting Kimber, Coopers, and 40's in their own class. Panda, Borden, Stiller, BAT, ....yeah, those are a different breed, and are custom. And making it a monetary thing doesn't do it just...

Re: Barrel twist and bullet performance
The 50's out of the PPC are running around 3450. The 39's are pushed at 3840, almost exactly what I run them out of my .204, which by the way, is a 11 twist PacNor Super Match three groove.

Re: Barrel twist and bullet performance
My wife's 20 PPC was built with a ten twist Krieger. She shoots the 39's from it with no problems. It also shoots 50 grain Bergers very well. The 50's are shot at matches at 9000' ASL, the 39's are used on pdogs at about 5500' ASL.

Re: 2008 204 Ruger dot Com Postal Shoot
Keith,
If I understood correctly, one gun per class. If both your rifles are in the same class, you may shoot only one of them. If they fall into two different classes, then you may shoot both, one in each class.

scootertrash - fess up...which ONE would you pick if you could ONLY pick one. :) I'm glad I don't have to make that choice! :chin: They are all tack drivers, three were built by Kevin Weaver, and all have their place when the pdog platoon heads out. But to answer your question, it would be the 20 P...

Re: Anybody shoot other 20 calibers?
Let's see, I have a .204, 20 VT, 20 Practical, and a 20 PPC. My Vartarg is a Cooper M38, and it likes VV N120 and RL7 under either a 32 grain VMax or Blitzking.

Well done Rick! We still haven't got out yet down here....but it won't be long. I'm curious if you are planning to coat your bullets for the "new girl?" If memory serves me correctly, I had thought you used coated bullets in your rodent rigs, and I assume the naked rounds were for break in...

Re: round does not fully chamber
A couple questions for you. Were these once fired cases fired in your rifle, or somebody else's? Secondly, how did you adjust the F/L die?
