Re: 223 rate of twist
I have a Rock River NM with a 1 in 8 barrel and a Colt Match Target with a 1 in 7. They both shoot Hornady v-max 55 grain bullets very good. I'm shooting just under 25 grains of H4895.

Re: What caliber other than .204 for vermin?
This is a (not very good) picture of a feral hog I got with the .22-250 loaded with Barnes triple shock bullets. It was a pass through shot at about 120 yards. It clipped the spine and dropped him in his tracks.

Re: .204 vs. Armadillo
The range was only about 40 yards (chip shot for the .204). The bullet made the entrance hole you see and did not exit.

Best primer pocket uniformer and flash hole deburr tool
What type/brand tools are yall using for primer pocket uniforming and flash hole deburring? I'm leaning towards buying the redding tools but I'm not 100% decided.
Thanks

Re: Crow sniping
I too enjoy shooting crows with the .204 shooting 32 gr. BK. What kind of technique do you guys use? I usually set up the crow caller under a few large trees in a valley and then get away about 200 yards on a hill. I do this so i'm shooting down in the ground instead of in the air. When the distance...

Re: Use of Hornady 40g V-Max
I don't know the exact answer to your question, but I'm going to give Hornady the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe they designed the 40 v-max for the faster twist barrels. If Hornady changed the design it might not shoot as well for the people who are shooting the 10 and 11 twist barrels. I l...

Re: What caliber other than .204 for vermin?
I like the .22-250 and 50 grain v-max bullets for Alabama coyotes and Barnes Triple Shock bullets for feral hogs.

Re: Hornady 40gr V-max vs. Sierra 39gr Blitzking
Thanks for the advice. What is the contact info for Custom Reloading Supplies? I usually order my components from Midsouth Shooters Supply since they are close and have good prices and fast shipping. They are currently out of stock on the sierras so I think I will try the hornadys first.

Hornady 40gr V-max vs. Sierra 39gr Blitzking
Does anyone know where I can find a schematic of the Hornady 40gr V-max bullet profile and the Sierra 39gr Blitzking bullet profile? I'm going to see which one my rifle likes the best but I want to examine the advantages and disadvantages of each.
Thanks,
