Re: Queston about a load and Chrono speeds
Try moving your chrono out further. If you are setting it to 10 ft. go to 12 ft.

I'm happy for you. Nothing like a good shooting rifle to take to everyday grind away. If I was not waiting on a 85 Sako, I would have one right now.

Re: The Rosebud Reservation has been poisoned!
I have been fishing on Native American (hope that is the right term) land for 40 years and I still cannot believe some of the things that are done to turn people away that want to spend money. We just got back from Pyramid Lake by Reno and they had closed half the lake to fishing just when all the p...

You could put a few bucks onto $930 and get a Sako and really have something.

Re: Banning Of PD Shooting In Co
You guys in CO need to be emailing Dirk Kempthorn (Sec of Interior) He is from Idaho and is not a tree hugger. We were able to rescind a shooting ban here in Idaho that would have closed 20,000 acres of prime ground squirrel shooting habitat. It was done by an aggressive grass root email campaign to...

Re: Universal de cappers
Skipper, If you are useing the Redding neck sizing die, you can install a .17 expander and it will not touch the neck. Recommended to me by the Redding tech staff. I used to use a dedicated press and a decapping die untill I solved the mess problem with a Forster press. Now back to the Redding die a...

Chunks missing from .25 to .50. Looked like the tool had skipped or had a broken piece.

Would a competition shell holder set from Redding also address the shell holder height?

Re: If you guys have time....
Very interesting. Did you scope the rifle at all when it was shooting good? I wonder what the bore condition was then. My Brother bought a Rem LVSF for a project gun a year or two ago and the barrel on that rifle, unfired had sections of rifling missing. It did produce some 3" groups out of the...

Re: Hornady brass for the .204 - better than Rem or WW?
Acloco, I have not experienced a loss with WW brass like you have. What are the nature of the failures? I have culled out a few right out of the bag, and had a couple out of 1600 that just will not spin up to snuff on the concentricity gauge after thy have been fire formed. Other than that I have no...

Re: 77/22 w/ 20" Green Mtn barrel (Pics)
Nice ray. I just love .22's. I have a 77/22 that I bought for my son years ago when they first came out. It has had the heck shot out of it and still shoots quite well with the factory barrel. We did bed it and blueprint the action. Neat little guns.

Wonder if your tool is dull.
