"Would" a .204 kill a hog....or "Should" it be used I think is the more appropriate question. Use the appropriate tool for the appropriate application IME. Much also depends on your marksmanship abilities.
Zen, I've watched your YouTube vids...big fan!

Re: Nikon Monarch scopes
I have a Nikon Buckmasters 6-18X40 on my AR-15 .223 and I like it. The midway USA version has Mildot, which I prefer. I usually keep it around 12X for target shooting. Optics are "good" on 18X. It rides the AR nice. I have a Nikon M223 one-piece mount for it which I like. They are on sale ...

Also, Dillion Precision makes a handy gauge to measure your ammo to make sure it will chamber. Hopefully they make one for 204.

Check out the Nikons as well, also Nikon's "spot-on" ballistics/reticle program on their website. 3/4 of my rifles have Nikons, I'm a big fan.

Re: Tactical .22 LR ammo
I prefer the bulk Federal ammo. It shoots and feeds clean. Its copper jacketed. I stay away from Remington at all costs! Very messy.

On sale now-Buckmaster 6-18
Hey anyone in the market for a new scope the Buckmaster is on sale for $314 at Midway. Thats a great price. I have one on my AR-15. Midway is the only one that carries the Mildot reticle, which I like.

Re: Zmax 17 & 20 Caliber Bullets
Zombies are "living dead" they have died once, but are reanimated. I don't think the Supreme Court has yet ruled whether they are accorded the same rights as the once-living. You could argue that killing them is "murder" I suppose. I prefer to think of them as "varmints"...
