Re: Advantages over 204 Ruger
I've been contemplating the 20VT now for a while to handle my large volume squirrel hunting, but I am kind of holding off to get some feedback on the 17 Hornet. I think that it could be a dandy sage rat shooter. And very friendly on the powder budget. Lots to think about this winter. Also 20 VT vs P...

Re: Better powder dispenser
Bodei, How many times have you left the powder drain open when you changed powders? A couple a times of that and I started putting a plain piece of white paper under the chargemaster just in case I did it again. All in all I agree. A great powder dispenser! Only three times, but none recently!

Re: Better powder dispenser
Once I spent the $289 on the RCBS chargemaster, my reloading experience changed 100% for the better.

I'm interested in that trigger. Let me know how it works and where you bought it.

I plan on using this powder when I run out of H335. Can anyone post any load data?

Re: What range to zero my .204?
Thanks for the advice. 300 yards is beyond what I need for ground squirrels, generally. There are too many targets closer. But I want to get some longer range shooting in without wasting ammo.

Re: Forum rat rodeo
I think there are some options, but it depends on how many people are serious about going. There is Cedarville in the Spring, but I would reccomend going before or after the Squirrel Roundup in March. There is a farm complex that allows shooting in Butte Valley just a few miles south of the CA/OR bo...

Re: My latest squirrel video
I've been shooting a few locations between Susanville and Oregon. Butte Valley off of Hwy 97, Cedarville, and some places off 395. I wanted to get back to Cedarville but never made it. I'll be ready for next year.
