Nikon Monarch scopes
Anyone have a Nikon monarch scope on their rifle? I just ordered a 5x20x44mm for my ar I had made. But I was considering a 4x16 for my 204. I have always been a Nikon fan but I have no experience with the Monarch scopes. I have a 4x12 prostaff on my 204 now and I would like a little more magnificati...

savageboy, I found the muzzle velocity of 27.9g to be 3,769 fps, so I went up to 28.5g where I found another decent shooting load with 4 groups averaging out to .481 and velocity running 3,940 fps. That was using once fired Rem brass and a Wolf 223 primer, col 2.260. Wolf primers are not available ...

The only way you are going to know how they work in your rifle, compared to Hornady or others, is simply to shoot them. Went to the range today and tried out the reloads. Results were not as impressive as I thought. Im not so sure on how you figure out your group sizes? I just took a tape measure and measured the space between the 2 farthest holes. Worst group was 1 1/2" and the best was 1". It seemed like ...

Amount of rounds out of 1lb of powder
What is the average number of rounds you can load up out of 1lb of powder? I know its gonna depend on how many grains your loading up but, whats the average number you guys are coming up with(if you keep track). It may be a dumb question but I'm trying to price out how much I can load up 1,000 round...

After I wrote that I thought about doing it lol. So today I did. Ordered2 500 ft boxes for p- dog hunting this year. After i get my load developed I'll load up a bunch.

I may get made of for this but here it goes. Those of you who own Cooper rifles in a 204, thoughts and opinions? I currently own a savage 11fcns and was considering another 204. If you own one what kind of optics you have?
