Re: model 1
Nice looking rifle. After looking the page over more I seen the kit came without the lower receiver.......that said I guess I'd be more apt for just an upper and order a lower from a friend with his ffl

Reloading kits
All the reloads I have done already have been loaded up at friends houses(who are experienced). I have been thinking about getting into it myself and was just wondering about opinions on which brands are good and what is not. Being I mainly shoot Hornady Factory loads I would stick with Hornady bull...
model 1

Re: 110 gr v-max for .270 win
I purchased my first center fire , a Winchester Mdl 70 270 Win rifle in the fall of 1952. Started reloading for it with a Lymon Tru Line Jr press in 1953. I grew up in farm and cattle country and used the 100 and 110 Gr bullets to shoot a few prairie dogs out to about 300 Yds and any other unwonted...

Re: 110 gr v-max for .270 win
Rick, please tell me you still have that Blazer! Talk aout hanging on to sweet things! Sharp: Well, no.....it was my dads rig at that time. It went to my son who jacked it up, then sold it soon thereafter around '92.....real bummer. Soon after that hunt while living in a logging camp in BC, I order...

Re: CMMG 204 Uppers
If I am not mistaken, the only FFL registered part on an AR is the lower receiver. So any upper, whether it be a kit or fully assembled, would not need FFL registration. I am no lawyer, check the laws that apply to you. 7th Corps the most lethal/powerful land military formation in history, that als...

Re: CMMG 204 Uppers
RRA (Rock River Arms) and Model1 Sales also do .204. I'm very happy with my RRA. I just shot 3 into 0.2" (scared to shoot 5, lol!) with mine a couple days ago.. Don't know about CCMG. I'd wager that the performance of their .204 would be akin to their 5.56... Gunbroker usually has some custom ...

Re: Where to buy
We normally have a small inventory of brass and various varmint bullets available for the small calibers. We aren't always the cheapest, however we try to keep our prices competitive and our shipping rate is one of the best around at a$9 flat rate. Let me know if there is anything special you are l...

Re: Nikon Monarch scopes
I have a Nikon Buckmasters 6-18X40 on my AR-15 .223 and I like it. The midway USA version has Mildot, which I prefer. I usually keep it around 12X for target shooting. Optics are "good" on 18X. It rides the AR nice. I have a Nikon M223 one-piece mount for it which I like. They are on sale...

Re: Nikon Monarch scopes
I meant to buy a monarch when I purchased my rifle but the pro staff was a good buy. I like the scope but I want mote magnification. The prostaff would find a new home on my rimfires. Also the deal sweetener is Nikon has a instant rebate on qualifying scopes
