.223 AI
Im thinking about turning my bolt action .223 rem into a .223AI. I have an ar-15 in 223 so I figured why not try the AI. What are the pros and cons of this cartridge? If I have read correctly I should just have rechamber my bolt action? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: No brass anywhere !
I ordered some from Midsouth last night. Everything was backordered but I wanted to get on the "list" before the price went sky high like it has at my local shops. 1,000 cases of Remington.

Re: Sage Rat video with .204 Ruger
Nice video.
This maybe a dumb question but what kind of stock is that on your Howa? I have 2 Howa 1500's(.223 and .243). My .223 has a Boyd's Classic stock but was looking into more of a BR style.

Re: Lost My Shooting Buddy
Sorry for the loss of your shooting buddy. I don't want to take away from your post but I myself had a loss back in November. My aunt passed away on the operating table in a complicated surgery. She left behind 2 children. Her son(my cousin was 15) my brother and I took him shooting at our grandpare...

Re: Remington 700 sps varmit
I have an opportunity to purchase a used Remy 700 sps varmit in 204 ruger. I know I just purchased a brand new one. The used rifle has 100-200 rounds down the pipe. The guy wants 550 or bo w/ a Barska scope(not a fan of the scope). I asked him how much without the scope. My local scheels is selling ...

Re: New 20 VT rifle in the way!
Bill, you don't mention what height the rings are now, but with 1/4" under the objective bell, Low rings will most likely work, as I've used Low Leupold rings on all my Coopers, all have 30mm Lupy VX3 6.5-20X LR scopes with 40mm objectives mounted, and you can just slide a business card under ...

Re: Good hand load for a 243 Win
I have some 75gr V-max loaded up and ready to shoot whenever the snow is gone here in MN. I used IMR 4064 powder, WLR primers, WW cases and started at mid load and worked up to max in .1 increments. Ill post my results in the future. As I have just started reloading myself; I'm just excited to see w...
