RIO I just ordered a VX-1 3x9 in silver. As for the adjustments do I send the scope in?

What's a factory 10/22 barrel worth? Less than 100 rounds down the pipe.

Barrel band? In the stock photo? I couldn't wait to remove that ugly thing from day 1. The bottom photo is how she sits currently

Re: Too much scope for a 10/22?

RIO what kind of scope mounts do you have on your Rugers? The factory mounts don't impress me and I was looking at leupolds.

Too much scope for a 10/22?

What's too much scope for a 10/22? I have finally started my 10/22 project. My barrel should be here tomorrow and I've been looking around for a scope. My barrel is silver so I'd like a silver scope. I've been looking at a leupold VX-1 3x9x40. Would a 3x9 be too much power and make the close shots b...

Re: NEED SOME HELP FOR A STOCK

I have the same rifle and am in the same predicament but I'm looking at hs precision, macmillian, or bell and Carlson. I prefer a synthetic stock but want a quality composite one.

What is your go to shot gun?

What's everyone's go to shot gun for birds. Gtohunter had a post like this in the big game section. Mine is a stoeger p-350 pump action. Use it for geese, turkey, and shooting clays. I did just pick up the new stoeger m3000 for the upcoming waterfowl season. I wanted a semi auto. The pump will becom...

Re: New CZ712

How's the 712 after owning for sometime Glen? I had the opportunity to buy a used one, but decided to pass. The seller was asking the priced of a brand new one. I figured I'd just buy a new one then. I'm just waiting to pull the trigger and order one.

I wish my dealers around here would order the barreled actions. I asked my main local gun shop and they said they can't. They can't even sell stripped lower...

Re: New Ruger( to me )

Thanks RIO. Do you have scope caps on that scope or not? I dont see any in your photos. I was looking at the leupold Aluma covers or butler creek caps.
