Thanks, yes they are 32 gr. I will look in to the v-max loads.204_au wrote:What weight/size projectile? From that I'm led to believe the 32 gr Z-max and 32 V-Max are identical, so loads for the 32 gr. V-max would apply. I'm using 28.9gr H4895, Remington cases and Remington 7 1/2 BR small rifle primers.

Re: How many reloads?
With the situation with our Government and it's agencys now days, it is best they do not know who and how much ammo is around. Have you noticed the news reports lately. Some person is checked out and nothing related to it brings the authorities into the house and they find a cache of ammo "Tho...

Re: How many reloads?
I am trying to load as much as I can. My big hold up is cost of brass. I have close to 1000 rounds to us but no brass. I have about 300 loaded up right now, but never can have enough loaded be fore the man tries to stop it all. So I say do as much as you can, you never know when you will not be able...

I am using Win cases and primers. I am going to start IMR out at 27gr. Then go up by .3 gr each group of 5. I am going ...

Re: CFE223 anyone?
Tokimini you are right they are the v-max with a different tip. But a box of 500 for like $54, got to have it. It is just about the same price as the Midway Dogtown's. Midsouthshooters.com is going to sell them when they are released. They are taking orders now thou.

Re: CFE223 anyone?
I too have bought 1 lb of CFE 223. But I have not used it. I was thinking of waiting for the z-max rounds to come in, if they do. But I too would like to see loads that you all have come up with.

CFE 223?
Has anyone used this powder, CFE 223? I was looking at trying it with the dogtown from mid way and the z-max when it comes in. But I would look at other options also.
Thanks

Re: 39 gr blitz kings trouble grouping
This is how I did with the 39 gn BK's. The photo has most info you might ask for. I do belive that this is a light load, but it is almost a compresed load at that. The power is at the base of the neck. I am still going to try and up it by .5 to 1 gn. http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb357/cubdad6...

Re: Help...204 issues
Tonyb,
Is the barrel free floted? I know I had he same issue with my .270 win and .300 win mag. They were not floted. once I did flot them I could shoot 40 rounds back to back and the rounds would not move. Just one idea.
