Re: Bedding 10/22 and seeking advice
Bedding is pretty much pointless with the single mounting screw...I put a .920 flutes barrel on mine after I had a trigger job done and had the bolt re-works a bit....I can routinely shoot groups of less than 1/2 inch at 50 yards with it now....it's not a lightweight...but it will shoot lights out.....

Re: Rem 700 sps varmint
I shopped around and found a good buy through Bud's....I bought a CZ 527 Varmint in .204 with the kevlar stock for $600.....Put a Nikon on it and use that as my carry rifle....it isn't bad at all as a carry...IF you don't use a bipod.....if you leave it on yes, its heavy......not too much so but you...

Re: Bedding 10/22 and seeking advice
Sorry to tell you this Mr Roadkill....But you have the disease and yes, it's TERMINAL.....soon you may find yourself sending your bolt out to Que for reworking and maybe even sending him your barrel for a bit of his "magic" then pulling that trigger group out and mailing it to Brimstone or...

Re: Ruger Attitude
Thanks Rick....Have read the same thing about barrel length...Just read a report that longer barrels only assist with Bolt action rifles...seems with auto-loaders that the bullet is only about 12 inches down the barrel before the action opens up to recycle...then gasses escape out both ends and this...

Re: Ruger Attitude
OK Rick....kind of agree....I have a list already started.....Going to pick up a rifle Friday and start from there, Just trying to sort out particulars at this point....Did a bit of "homework" and found out there is really no gains involved with longer barrels so a 16 1/2 incher would be f...

Re: Youth 6mm Remington Advice
Have you looked at the new Savage Axis...? They are a good looking rifle in a very affordable range....and as we already know the Savage family is rugged and built to take it (No I am in no way shape or means affiliated with Savage)...just a thought.....
