I live in a rural setting and occasionally shoot feral cats that are obviously neglected and a nuisance to my barn cat. No dogs recently, but the lesson is the same. I will never, ever shoot unless I know I have a shot that I'm virtually % 100 sure that I won't miss. The reason should be obvious. If...
The Signature Rings are outstanding. I do have a ring lapping tool that I will never use again. They are exactly what Burris advertises them to be. They self align and are a snap to use. Here's the real beauty. With the offset inserts and windage adjustable bases you can pretty much zero your scope ...

Re: Chuck Hawks
You are right on the money with that comment. Some of his other stuff is OK for "quick and dirty" answers, but not scopes.janneuf wrote:.....I have never seen him review a scope he didn't like.
Mueller's are OK scopes, certainly not junk, but they are not top quality scopes by any means.

Whoaa there....Leupold NOT honoring their warranty? I smell a rat there buddy. What kind of rat do you smell? I have no agenda if that's what you're implying. Sorry, I insulted your favorite scope. I don't own a Leupold, but I have shot with them and they are of superb quality. I was shopping for a...
I have a Burris Signature Select 4-16X44 and it is outstanding. I too heard the stories about Leupold not honoring their warranty and decided against them for that reason and their price. I bought the Mil Dot Version, but IMHO it is not needed with the .204. You can sight it in to shoot to 300 yards...

but everything I have read so far on the Internet says good things about Mueller scopes and that they are comparable in quality to brands such as Leupold. Not a chance. I've shot a Mueller side by side with a Burris Signature Select on a bright sunny day and there is no comparison. Day and Night di...

Since I've been posting for awhile, I guess it's past time to introduce myself. I grew up around firearms from the time I was able to walk. Hunted small game and such from about age 9-10. Went big game hunting near the Smokies at age 14. Have acquired several rifles, shotguns, and pistols and have r...
