Re: Does this exist as a non wildcat?
The 221fireball necked down to 20cal or 17cal? If so what is it called? Would it have any advantage over the 17Hornet? Is that what the 19 Badger is made from? Just wondering. No, it's only in a Wildcat form. The 20-221 and 17-221 are both current reamers but you'll find it offers nothing over the ...

Re: 17 Hornady Hornet Reamer Print
No the lead is .063" and the freebore is .050". The .172" you're refering to is the bore diameter. Adam

Re: 17 Hornady Hornet Reamer Print
The lead is the freebore and the throat is the angled section where the rifling engages the bullet after passing the freebore. Typically the throat is at and angle of 3* or less. Adam

I feel this is a poorly drawn round and if I were to chamber a rifle for it (which I won't) it would need a fair amount of work. Infact I would still chose the 17AH over this anyday. ...

Re: weighing brass
Like above as, it matters only if they are the same MFG. I buy 1000 pieces of LC brass and then weigh them into a single one grain lot (90.8-91.8gr). After I did the segragation I noticed my groups and pressures really evened out and tightend up. You only have to do it once and it's well worth the e...
