I know there are much better ways of dispensing prarie dogs, I already have 3 cooper rifles a bench rest 22-250, and a savage 204. Coopers are in 223, 22-250 and 204. Just thought I'd give it a try shooting them with a pistol that's all. A new challenge you can call it.

Just bought one. It is a G2 frame with a 14 inch tc 204 barrel. Hoping to shoot a few prarie dogs with it. Anyone mess with loads for this? Hoping to find a low velocity load that is accurate.

I messed with it a little. Shot great in my 24 inch AR. Had trouble getting them to cycle the action at the load I was shooting but if I remember it was on the lighter side.

I've been able get the dogtowns to shoot ok with 25G of 10X, and also 26.5g of h335. the problem im having is bullet seating. with the absolute flat base they have ive recked 2 pieces of brass. they sure dont push in very nice.

are they the same bullet as midways dogtown? I do have a box of those to play with before I order 500 of them

Has anyone had any luck with these in their 1:12 twist AR? 41 bucks for 500 is tempting if they shoot at all.

they are the mags that everyone I talked too recommended to try with my 204 ar. I ordered up two 20 rders. I also got a 10 rd AR-stoner mag that seems to work very well.

between full length sizing and changing to c-product magazines I think I've solved all my feeding problems.

What bullet depth did you determine worked the best?

I think grayfox hit it on the head. What your explaining is exactly what my rifle is doing. I won't get a chance to test it until I can get my hands on some different magazines. Thanks for the help guys.

well, somewhat of a new build. I changed the buttstock to an A2 style on a lower that I had and put this upper on it. What really is blowing me away here is that the first 100 rds went by without any problems, which is where I usually have problems if I do.
