Re: 20 VarTarg Questions?

After reading about Everyone talking about the .20 VarTarg I was wanting to know a few things about it? Is this a Caliber You guys have made on Your own? Check out The Wood Chuck Den. Todd Kindler gets the nod for the 20VT Does other Rifle Makers have this Caliber? Mine is a Cooper What different M...

Re: What Ammo Box for 204 R

A little late getting back here. Had the 24 hour bug for the lat 5 days.
Thanks for the input.
RIO Still can't find the happy place for the Nosler's. Oh well that will leave more for you to set new altitude records with Skippy!

What Ammo Box for 204 R

What ammo boxes are you using for 100 Rd count.

I'm using the MTM P-100-44 for my 20VT. They work great

Re: 20 VT "factory" ammo? - sorry, not 204

Good point, I had forgotten to consider multiplying their target group size by 2 for distance, plus I am not shooting a 36x Leupold indoors. Yes, 1/2" is good enough, I just hoped to do at least one small bughole group before quitting wasting paper and use it on vermin. 32, did you clean those...

Re: 20 VT "factory" ammo? - sorry, not 204

If it takes off, I'd imagine HSM will offer plastic-tipped offerings eventually as they do with the other 223 family of varmint cartridges. They do http://store.iqmetals.com/20vartarg32grhornadyv-max.aspx That would make this ammo about $1.00 or a little over, per round.. Think I would stick to rel...
