Re: my .204
Thanks, Everyone. I've put nearly 300 rounds through this rifle, both factory and reload, and never had one fail to extract. I was reading some last night and it seems to be more of a complaint in NEF rifles chambered for .223. @Huntsman22-I'm not sure what you're getting at, perhaps you should elab...

Re: my .204
Thanks Bill K. My first coyote hunt of the season is this coming Saturday. Going to relieve a local horse rancher of a few scurvy dogs. Hope to have some pics up by Sunday or Monday if i have success. It could get brutal. He's got an infestation, and i'm not lookin' to save pelts yet.

Re: .17HMR Hornady's Splitting Brass
Well, there's certainly some good info there, and some derogatory people as well. It makes sense that my dad's Hornadays may have been from the old batch and the CCI was newer. My pop stock piles his ammo like crazy.

Re: Tell us about yourself...
@ Lead Lobber- I keep a pretty busy schedule but maybe we can work something out after the holidays. How does that AR treat you? I'm debating on getting one of those myself. currently my .204 is an H & R Ultra varmint, and although it's a single shot, i love it to death. more on that later.

Re: .17HMR Hornady's Splitting Brass
I see that this thread is over a year old, but since I'm new here I'd like to share as well. Two weekends ago i was target shooting with my father's Taurus .17hmr revolver, using Hornady factory ammo. I noticed that about every other round was splitting the brass. We then tried some CCI factory ammo...
