Re: Accuracy issues with Savage Model 10/110 Predator
Hi Avagadro, I have a Savage Model 12 in the 204 caliber, it shoots the 32 gr sierra very well. It is said that many of the 204 calibers will not shoot the 40 gr bullets accurately, many of those same rifles will shoot the Sierra 39 gr bullet Very Well. My savage will shoot the 32 gr and the 39 grai...

Re: Primer pocket uniformer ?
Mark, don't fret about taking too much brass out of the pocket when uniforming. I've got brass uniformed that way that has been reloaded since 1976, and it's still going strong as long as I keep it annealed. (It's old R-P 222 Rem Mag brass formed to 223 years ago.) If accuracy is a concern, it may ...

Re: SEATING AND GROUPING QUESTION
ALP, In regards to the Ruger 204 load testing When I was load testing I found that as I got closer to the Max Load for the powder I was using the Tighter my groups got. (I watched for signs of pressure along the way.) I too tested in .2 gr increments - then in .1 gr increments within a small range. ...

Nosler 32Gr Varmageddon
Hi, I working up some Nosler 32Gr Varmageddon loads for a Ruger 204 - Savage M12. I will be using BLC-2 powder 28.5 to 30.7 grs in .2 gr increments. I had previously worked up a load using Hornady 32gr, using BLC-2 powder 29.1 grs was an accurate load, I suspect 29.1 grs may also be the appx load th...

Re: Custom Barrel Makers
Thanks all.
I was inquiring about the savage barrel for my Savage, and a friend said he believed he would change a Remington 223 barred action to a 204 Ruger as he was thinking he would like to shoot that caliber ( he has a couple 223's).

Re: Reloading New Brass Vs once/twice.... fired
More info needed, Are you full length sizing your brass or neck sizing only. Are you cleaning the brass & how are you doing it. Sonic cleaner or a vibrator / tumbler?? I would suggest you neck size only as this should give you the best group accuracy & use a sonic cleaner to remove any inte...

Reloading New Brass Vs once/twice.... fired
I have loaded up some ruger 204 new brass, shot @ 200 yards groups were very good 3/8-1/2". I want to repeat these loads. After loading the bass a few times the Groups seem to have opened up 1"-1 1/4 ". As the brass has been fired a couple of times should one go up like .1 (one tenth)...

Re: Savage LRPV 204 Ruger
well i finally got to the range today with my new Savage LRPV 204 Ruger. I tested it with 32 vmax, 40 grain nosler's, and 39 SBK's. All i can say is wow!! It shoots lights out accurate with the 39 SBK's. I was able to produce two separate 3 shot groups in a row that were one ragged hole at 100 yard...
