Lots of guys DO make their own, there's a section in the Predatormasters Forum on how to do so, even. It doesn't seem too complicated for an electronics buff (which I ain't!) I have an older Johnny Stewart cassette caller, the JS 512, and it's more trouble to haul around than it seems to be worth. I...

Great looking stick, but I don't think the action is small enough for a .204, the bolt face is wrong, and the extractor, at a minimum, would have to be replaced, along with the magazine and assorted parts. I don't think they ever made a 98 Mauser to fit the .378" bolt face, unless FN did some b...

If the bullet came apart inside the coyote, and nothing exited, it WOULD be awfully hard to find any blood, as the hide can move over the entrance hole and seal it when the coyote moves. The hair can soak up a lot of blood, too. Did you find any hair floating around? That can be an indicator, also. ...

It was fun, but I ain't sleeping on the ground any more! I am unfamiliar with 11Xray, don't know what...

Welcome all! We have a lot of fun here, and pass around some pretty fair information from time to time. We have all the published data in the tabs up top, and maybe some more in the reloading sections, if what you see there isn't helpful enough. If you have questions, feel free to ask, we'll help if...

Bumshot and Mike, glad to have you here. We're mostly a laid-back bunch, there's lots of data here, and maybe some advice that will help, or that you can help with, WELCOME! Mike, I grew up in Marceline, a ways north of Glasgow, still deer hunt there every year. You're right about deer, coyotes and ...

Welcome, Wiskers and all, pay particular attention to greymist and silverfox's posts and loads, they have been very helpful to me, in finding good loads for my rifle. We are all pretty new to the cartridge, and we are all learning, all the info we are scrounging and working up ourselves, can't but h...

46 years old, here, I live in Louisvillle, KY, but grew up in N/C Missouri, hunting whatever was around. Moved to KY to work, shot IPSC pistol stuff for years, got some arthritis in my wrists, so I moved to rifle shooting, and got caught up in the PD frenzy, still haven't gotten over that, either. I...
