I use nylon brushes with the 50BMG, and haven't had any reactions with it, also, my jag is brass, but haven't had any reactions with IT, either (didn't expect any reaction with a nylon brush, though). I've never used Wipe-Out, but the .50BMG has worked extremely well for me. It IS stout smelling, bu...

Here's how to post pics http://www.rugerhunting.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29 As to scope issues, that's a tough one. Eye relief is pretty individual, some folks like 'em one way, others can't handle it. My buddy sets his rifles up so they are unuseable to me, and vice versa. I would contact Leupold ...

Since new cases are undersized to begin with, they have to expand to fill the chambers, that brass is going OUT, not lengthening, like you've come to expect. This is especially bad since it's so undersized from the git-go. I strongly think that the companies are making the cases too small to stretch...

A cautionary note................

http://www.varminthunters.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6651 Since most of us don't use the .204 for ALL our rodent killin', it might be a public service announcement to post this here, also. Priced right doesn't always mean they are a good buy, especially if they don't work correctly. :twak: :eew: :nay:

Benchmark and H-322 seem better suited to the lighter weight bullets, in my opinion. With the heavier bullets, H4895 has been stellar, along with 10x, and Varget has been pretty fair, too. You might give some of those a try. I do know I'm getting fonder of Benchmark every time I fool with it in the ...

Thanks, berettabob, that's good info to know. I "suspicioned" it might shoot pretty good, and that's the second report I've read that confirmed it. I haven't seen any on the shelves locally, but intend to try some when I do find it. I really don't shoot too many of the heavier bullets anyw...

Benchmark has possibilities with the 34s in my rifle, probably your rifle, too :D I haven't had time to mess around with them yet, just a couple of groups with 26.6 gr. It was under an inch, barely, but I wasn't really warmed up yet, either. That's my story, etc, etc. I'm gonna try some 2230-C...

Errrrr, LP Brezny never met a bullet he didn't like, especially if a company sent him some, free.......... Heck he even likes the WSSMs, although if you read between his lines, he really doesn't say anything NICE about them, or glosses over something horrible (like having to clean every TEN{WSSMs} s...

I posted on a couple of Missouri deerhunting sites,(some of them shoot PDs, too) and a couple of Australian sites, they love the .204s for fox, cats and other feral stuff. http://missouriwhitetails.com/forums/viewthread.php?tid=38556 This got the most responses, all very favorable :D The Aus sites a...

I went around to several other websites and linked them to those pics, they seemed very impressed, both with the .204 AND your photos, as I am. Bodacious stuff there :trophy: :wtg: :!:

BTW, I'm most impressed with Tom, he really put his everything into his performance!

I'm all but positive that they are made by Burris, so anything said about Burris would also include the Pentax. I rarely if ever hear anything bad about the better Burris lines, so I'd be inclined to think they are pretty good :D .

Yep, you're in trouble now! I've just about forgotten about deer hunting since I found out about PDs. I used to live for deer season, now, I'd rather shoot PDogs. Part of it, of course, is the fun of going someplace new, with good friends, and just having a ball doing something you like to do. That'...
