Midway's Dogtown Bullets are made by Nosler, mostly for the Australian market, where they are sold as Nosler "Shots". You can get them, CHEAP, at Midway, I just bought 500 for $46.95, which is a bargain at today's prices, considering the price increases lately :( . They don't shoot quite a...

You'll never know until you try them, some rifles love them, some won't take 40s at all (both mine, for example :( ) I've shot a Ruger at the range that loved 40s above all else, and I've seen Savages shoot them well, but mine won't. The individual likes and dislikes of the .204 rifles is one of the...

"The VG Bullet Ad reads a whole lot different", that's the rub, isn't it :D Technically, a zinc (sintered) bullet core should be as good as any, but if it slips, it will play hob with accuracy, and if it doesn't "grenade" like it's supposed to, it might ricochet and wallop a cow ...

I can't answer your questions, I was only repeating what someone else's experiences were. ANY company can let things slide, I've seen Sierras with the plastic tips cockeyed or fallen out, a time or two, it happens to the best of them. In Barnes' case, I'd guess that the machine that tamps the zinc??...

Thanks, Joe, but I'm set for quite awhile, I have enough 205Ms to feed that Howa for a long while (I've got 1000 or so primed cases, all with 205Ms, for that .223 that favors them) and several hundred more primers, to replace them with, the .204s are doing well with the Remingtons, so's the Fireball...

Gmoney, that was back in SEPTEMBER! Rick gave us a "heads up" about about copper prices and that got me off my duff and dragged the wallet out. I've been picking up stuff ever since, whenever I see a deal, or even part of a deal :? Primers are getting scary around here, $31 for regular Fed...

The OSHA thing has gone away for the time being, we're keeping an eye on them, though, the sneaky rascals are always plotting something bad. I started stocking up when V-Maxes were $23.92/250 at Midsouth, and have bought quite a bit more since then (2000 .224" VMs, among others) and am always k...

Gerry, try some Re-7 and Lil Gun in your Fireball, too, just for giggles, my little CZ loves that Re-7. My buddy's rifles like anything at all.......

:puke: :alright: Well, at least you know what it DOESN'T like, now you know how not to waste your time. :o With that rifle, you're gonna be tough to beat if you use what it really likes. I think we oughta make you shoot those bullets, you know, for a handicap, since that rifle shoots so well with th...

As fond as I am of the .22/250, and I'm a HUGE fan, I use the .204s now, easier on barrels and ears, and wallets, too. Recoil isn't much of a problem with either, but the .204 is gentler there, too. I like about anything that goes "Bang" but as I get older, I tend to like littler stuff bet...

He might have better luck with CCIs. When I shot a lot of IPSC pistol, no one locally would touch CCI primers, they were oversized and plugged up the Dillon primer feeds, and no one wanted the hassles. It's a thought............ (I know it might ruffle feathers, but that was our experiences around h...

http://ausvarmint.kjd84.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1572 Maybe this will help! It's odd that I have to go to an Aussie website to find out about an American company, but I hadn't heard of them either, until I read a couple of posts by this guy, who apparently is in "good" with the Aussie imp...

David, badgers don't come apart easily, they make bears back off and think twice. They are tough mothers! I think you'd need two D8 Caterpillars to pull one apart.

4895 and the BlitzKing, not too much of a surprise there :D It looks mighty good to me! Keep up the good work! You'll have to get in on the postal shoot, if you can keep that up!
