Re: .204 ruger on a deer?
I wouldn't even if it was legal here in Michigan. I had a friend take a deer with a 22-250 and it ran off and hemorrhaged to death. Energy had no effect on the animal. I'll stick to my deer rifle.

Re: Venison recipe
I believe that the Coke tenderizes the meat. When I was a kid I worked at a marina. When we would get boats that came from the salt water and we couldn't get the prop off, we'd let it soak in Coke overnight. The prop would pop off easy as butter the next morning. I like the feta cheese idea too. Mmmm

Re: Stevie Wonder, commenting on the death of Michael Jackson
Due to the fact that Michael Jackson was 99% plastic, he will be melted down and made into Legos so the kids can play with him for a change. The Coroner just issued a statement about MJ's death. The cause of death was food poisoning. He ate a 7yr old wiener. I heard the autopsy had found bubbles in ...

Nice looking rig Rick. I have to agree with everyone else. Wind plays a major factor in the little "Hummer". It's probably my second favorite gun to shoot next to my .204. My 8YO little girl is deadly with it too. :D Here's a pic of my 17. http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l231/bergcrane2/...

Re: Leupold oopsie
Let's get this straight right now. Leupold does, and always has made their scopes and bino's here. Anything with a Golden Ring is made in Beaverton, Oregon, USA, period. Ever been to the factory? What do you think all those optical technicians are doing in their little white coats in the factory? G...

Maybe bullet manufacturers run into the same issues powder manufacturers do. Buy bulk with all the same lot number.

Re: Your next 204?
Beautiful rifle, but I'll be shocked if he gets anywhere close to his asking price of $4,700. Like many others here, I simply don't see that much value in this gun. I'm also pretty underwhelmed with the comment about this rifle being designed to shoot 1/2" groups at 100 yards with factory ammo...
