Lee Precision recommends CCI's and that's about it. That's all I'm using and haven't had any problems.

Federal uses their own brass. I haven't loaded it into my 204, but I'm using it in my 300WSM and it seems ok. I'm just using cheap Win brass with the 204 and average groups in the mid-3's.

That ammo still holds the tightest group outta my 204 at .209" . I got my groups tighter handloading than the factory, but I still can't get my handload smaller than that. Very good factory ammo!

I think the 22-250 was what they had in mind when they came out with the 10X. I like it with my 204.

I bought the Lee and I like it. I don't actually use the auto-advance, but it's nice to have all your dies on one turrent. To change caliber, just replace the turrent. It really speeds up the process.

I think my problem was the 32 and 40 Hornadys after looking back at some paper. Ever since I went to 39SBK's, all my problems went away.

Rick-I'm reading it right now on MidwayUSA.com . Very true. I don't think it applies to the 204, but it does on most larger cases.

What case trimmer?

I have the Lee trimmer but Lee won't make a .204 gauge for it. I guess the neck is too small for them. ??? Is there an inexpensive option? Or do I have to spend the money to get a RCBS trimmer?

My Remmy VSSF II shot terrible out of the box. I had to get 80+ rounds through it, and quit shooting Hornady bullets to get it to shoot. I'm getting low .3's and it's best has been .208". The Sierra 39BK's are the $hl+!

Not as nice as the Burris, but excellent for the money.
