I tried Light Magnums in 150gr in my -06 and wasn't happy with the groups at all. Mine liked the Federal Premium 150gr Sierra Game King. With that much wind, a tactical or Big Game reticle will help.

I wash mine in the washer with vinegar after each firing. I put about 20 cases in a sock and tie it closed.

How many rounds do you have through the gun? I have the same gun and wasn't really happy with it until I got 200+ rounds through it. I had the same flyer problem. I went with the RE 10X 25.3gr with a 39SBK and the flyers are pretty much gone. I had my trigger lightened to 2.25# and it breaks clean.

Hmm, I probably don't shoot as much as you, but I don't think I've had any split. I'm going into my 3rd relaods on the same cases. I'm using the LE Wilson deburring tool.

No problem with CCI's. I know the military is using all the Federals.
