Re: Montana PD and coyote
Thanks. I ASSUMED I don't, because there's nothing on the site. But I'd hate to be wrong and get a ticket for shooting a darn dog!

Montana PD and coyote
Do I need any tag to shoot coyotes or PD's in Montana? I can't find anything on their website.

Re: factory 39bk ammo?
My best group with Federals was .208". Consistancy isn't quite as good as handloading, but I'd say it's the best factory ammo I've shot. I keep a couple boxes with me for just-in-case reasons.

Averaging Velocity
How do you average out your loads? Do you just average all shots? Or do you take out lowest and highest and average out the remaining? I had one load out of my last session that was 50fps lower than most and one higher than most.

Re: Montana question
We're actually big gaming in Wyoming, but the rancher has friends that have ranches in Montana who want yotes gone. If those don't pan out, maybe some BLM land. I went to MT F&G website and couldn't find any regulations on coyotes. All they show is game animals.

Do I need to buy a licence to shoot coyotes or PD's in Montana? I'm heading out there this fall and just want to get all my ducks in a row.

Pretty cheap, not the lightest rifle in town but id be pretty confident it would shoot straight and it wont break the bank.. iv got one myself, and it is very accurate...(just got the...
