Re: 204 Ruger dot com Postal Shoot Info and what not.
My targets go in the mail tomorrow. I'm not very happy with the results, but they are what they are. I shot pretty good groups the day before. I don't know what happened. ![wall :wall:](./images/smilies/wall.gif)

Re: Montana, Idaho and Utah Guys
If he is coming through Montana and Idaho, he can probably hit 3 or 4 Sportsman's Warehouse stores on the way down. I'm sure a few of them have Bergers in stock. Here is a link to their store locator website.

Re: Montana, Idaho and Utah Guys
I was in Cabelas this afternoon. They had .204's in stock. 35s and 40s $18.99 a box. I haven't been to Sportsmans in a while. It is hard to get there when Cabelas is 5 minutes from my house.

Thats the one!!! It looks like Doyle and the gang released the picture. There is a picture floating around that one of his guides took with his cell phone. I must say, the professional photo does it more justice. Here is the cell phone picture: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y99/NHS33/dk.jpg

There was another elk taken in Southern Utah that grossed over 440". When the pictures are released I'll post one here. Lots of big elk falling this year.

Awesome story! What an experience. I'm sure your son will remember it forever. I love to see good things happen to good people. Thanks for taking the time to share the story with us. ![party1 :party1:](./images/smilies/party1.gif)

Re: Fulfillment of a life long dream!
Congratulations!!!! I know first hand how tough the any bull areas are to hunt. That truly is a trophy and bull to be proud of. I'd love to hear the story as well.

Re: Bench etiquette question
Thanks guys for the replies! I didn't intend for the term bench master to be negative or derogatory. When I look at my own level of experience, I consider 90% of the people here to be masters! Thanks again.

Bench etiquette question
I have a question for the bench masters here. How far up on your rifle do you rest it on the front rest? I have tried the very end of the stock, back towards the action, and where the front sling swivel would be mounted. Is there a best practice here?
Thanks,

Re: Utah Hawwg
It is a blessing and a curse to have such big elk roaming the hills. Everyone who draws the limited entry tags expects to shoot a 380+ bull. More and more hunters are concerned with the score of the animal and fail to appreciate the experience and thrill of the hunt. I would be tickled pink to harve...

You truly are a wizard. How much work is it to keep it current? I love the idea. Extremely helpful. Thanks WrzWaldo! ![wtg :wtg:](./images/smilies/wtg.gif)

They are practically in my backyard as well. I wrote them about a year ago about a 20 cal bullet and they informed me that they had no plans for one in the future. It looks like they have finally seen the light. ![banana ](./images/smilies/banana-man-yeah.gif)

Check out this amazing bull that was taken last week down on the Boulder Mountains. This guy did this himself, a true DIY hunt. Utah is producing some amazing bulls. The only problem is the 30 year wait to draw a tag! :( http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y99/NHS33/DSC03985.jpg http://i3.photobucket.c...
