50 and 55 grain ballistics tables
Good Morning. I have been searching for a table to give me an idea of the ballistics data on the 50 and 55 grain Berger bullets. I have checked their site and the internet at large with out any success. I'm guessing that since the majority of these bullets are custom loads and therefore very subject...

How short is too short?
:wall: Well, I didn't get my case trimmer set up right and the set screw slipped a bit causing me to trim about 25 cases back to less than 1.45" they all vary in size as the thing was slipping ever so slightly a little at a time. So, my question is how short can I go on these cases? Can I use t...

Re: Seeing is believing
I am merely working the hornady brass for the experience and to learn. I will probably shoot it once so I can learn the steps for working brass that is fire formed to a specific gun and to learn neck sizing instead of FL sizing, etc.

Re: Annealing question
I know there is a product you can apply to the case which indicates when the case has been heated enough and that most people use it just long enough to learn to do it without the application.

Seeing is believing
Well, I got some 50 and 55 grain Berger Bullets in my Midway USA package today. It is easy to see how the rate of twist could affect the flight of those bullets. They are so much longer than the 40 grain rounds I've been shooting quite well with my CZ with the 1:12 twist! I'm excited to see how they...

Re: loading for accuracy
I should have been catching all those mocs and I would have if I had had any idea how many I could have had! It would have made some nice skins for some cool belts, or slings! Maybe even sell them to a venom clinic for antidote or other uses. I have really enjoyed reading some of your posts about yo...

Re: loading for accuracy
Thanks. Since I'm new sometimes it seems I have asked a question or two that show I have a lot to learn. I thank the 100 people who have read this post and not put me in my place for showing restraint and I will return to my reading.

Annealing question
First off I want the say Thanks to all our Veterans on this Memorial Day. The lives and sacrifices of the fallen and yourselves are appreciated. I have a thought on the annealing process. Since I haven't been reloading very long it is a new topic to me. I was reading on the subject and found that so...

Re: New and frustrated
Yes. Homeowners covers guns. And it actually gave me the full value of the two stolen guns minus the deductible since guns don't decline in value.

Re: Stock Options
I am also looking for stock options for my CZ 527. Most of my shooting is done out on a little hill top in the tall grass off a bipod and the standard wood stock really isn't comfortable for long periods scoping for predators and pigs. Any thoughts?
