Re: new .204 nut
I am jealous. Congrats on a fine rifle. I searched relentlessly for that exact same model of Tikka in Ruger 204, but to no avail: as none existed on the North American Continent. Here most blokes love shooting big, to bigger, to massive bore. So Tikka obliges them, as do so many other gun manufactur...

Nitrex TR1 6-20x50OA
I just got home from a day in the field using my new Nitrex mounted on a CZ 452 17hmr. After sighting it in, it became very clear that this scope was every bit as good as my 3 Weaver Grand Slams in the same power range. It has the same reticle as the GS, the fit and finish appears top notch, the dis...

Re: cz 527 feeding problem
Thanks for the thumb pushing suggestion. I was given the same advice at the range today and it works beautifully. Wish I didn't have to do it that way, but oh-well. The gun shoots great(under an inch with 5 shot groups @ 200yds) and now it feeds decently too. The load I'm going to use now for my go ...

Nitrex Scope
I just ordered a new Nitrex TR1 6-20x50OA scope to replace my Nikon Monarch to put on my cz 452 17HMR. I have a TR2 3-15x40 on my 17Mach2. I like the TR2 a lot. Any of you fellers got a TR1? How do you like yours?

cz 527 feeding problem
My new CZ 527 Varmint 204 shoots great...I'm getting sub moa groups at 200 yds. I have a problem with it feeding from the magazine. My buddy has the same gun in 221 Fireball and has the same problem. We both load our own ammo. The cartridges just jam up in the magazine, the bolt cant get them out an...

Still my all around favorite scope
Over the past ten years since I got into shooting I've owned many different brands and models of scopes such as- Bushnell Banner, Scopechief, Trophy, Elite 3200, Sightron S11, Simmons 44mag,Nikon Monarch, Nitrex TR2, Weaver V16, and Weaver Grand Slam. The one scope that stands out head and shoulders...

Re: Newbie asking Glen Asher about 2230-c & ww748
Thanks for the info. Sorry for my late reply as I was having issues logging on. I recently got some RL15 powder and #71/2 primers and will load with it tonight and shoot tomorrow. Let ya'll know how it goes. So now I have three powders, three bullets, two kinds of brass, and two kinds of primers to ...

Nikon hath sinned against me
As an avid photographer I know just how well Nikon lenses are(were) made. It therefore followed by way of logic that their scopes should be of equal quality. Contrast and resolution being of such high value to me I made a purchase of a Monarch 4-16x42 BDC. I either got a bad scope, or Nikon has real...

Re: Any Tikka fans out there?
Thanks for all of your replies. Sorry for not writing back myself but I kept getting a message that I a had exceeded my attempts to log on even though it would only be the first try. So I re registered. If any of you hear of Tikkas becoming available in 204 in America please post it as I'd love to a...
