Re: Issues with the Winchester 204 brass from Cabelas
I just went through both bags and did find the same issue with both. I also had both lot numbers that Jepp had listed. Bag 1 had 18 pcs, Bag 2 had 13pcs. Way too many for an acceptable failure rate. In my quality assurance world, with a 100 piece lot you would accept with 1 failure and reject at 2 p...

Re: who is shooting a CZ 527 American 204
I've had one for about four years now, and I love it. I'm in South Jersey below the mason/dixon line, and were seeing more and more groundhogs each year. In 2013 I shot 45 last year it was 43. were hunting 7 different farms. The Farmer's love us. Back to the rifle, since switching from a 25.06 4 yea...

Re: brass problems
Thank you Mr. Jo for the offer of the brass. Some of the Hornady rounds were a gift the rest was what Hornady sent me to replace the tall shoulders last year. I have a bunch Winchester brass that worked fine all summer. This was loaded with 39gr Sierra BK's. Super accurate on the chucks down here in...

Re: brass problems
I'm having this shoulder problem with brand new Hornady 32gr V-max's Shoulder seems too tall. the bolt closes tight or not at all This is in a CZ 527 American with only about 150 rounds through it I thought it might be a dirty chamber, but after scrubbing it they are still tight. Last year I sent a ...

My best hog hunt ever.
Not to be braggy, but, I've never shot 5 in one hunt before. Not to mention that four of them were from one hole. I seriously thought I was missing with each shot. I'd shoot and see nothing and then in five or ten minutes a head would pop up at the same hole. Then I'd repeat the process. I knew that...

Or an older Jeep Wrangler
My son just sold a cherry 95 for $2800.00 to a 68 yr old neighbor.
He's having a ball with it.

Re: I,m liking the new CZ 527 .204
I really don't mind the extended mag.
For chucks I only load one round at a time anyway.
I might get one of those Calhoon single shot followers for chuck hunting.
If I take it to PA for coyotes I'll load up the mag.
