Just got back from eastern oregon, was out there from the 30th-3rd. Got into a ton of jackrabbits and busted a couple dogs. Sure was good to be back home. All this Army stuff has kept me away toooooo long.

janneuf, How is the yote population in KY? I am in the Army and have driven through just about every state there is but only hunted OR, WA, NV, ID and PA. PA dogs are hard as heck to find even though there are plenty around. Is most of your hunting on private land or public? Public land out here is ...

godinlg_2 congrats again on your first yote. I am not sure why some want to run down anybody's personal achievement just cuz they are more experienced. I still remember my first dog 16 years ago. great job godinlg_2, corn stalks would definitely have stopped your bullet or worse, resulted in a bad hit. Head shot on a stationary dog at 90yds should be easy or you should stay home.

was out there last summer for a few days. Most the farmers around there only allow .22 rimfire but if you ask around I am sure some will let you shoot bigger guns. There was a lot of rats out there though so good luck.
