23.5 of 10x with 40 bergers is reasonable. 24.5 of 10x was listed in sum publications but was too hot for my 12FV.

I would certainly like to try 40 grain flat base bullets when you make them. After trying many bullets in the 204, I only shoot Berger 40gr flat base bullets now.

I have been shooting the Berger 40s for about 5 months . Just went with 10x about a month ago. Have been using 24.5 of 10X but the primer pockets are getting too loose and primers are too loose after 2-3 firings . Have to back down a little. That is absolutely incredible. I haven't worked a lot with the lighter bullets, but will give it a try. 200 yards, wow!!!!

Purchased a Savage 12FV, 204 in March of this year. Have been working up various loads since then, and just tried Reloader 10X and really tightened the groups up. I would try a Berger 40 grain. I shoot both the 39 bk and the Berger and the Berger shoots a little smaller groupd.
