It's my understanding that Berger discontinued the 55gr bullets in 20 caliber, so if that's why you want to AI a 204, your out of luck right from the get go.

I have a Shilen 1:9 on my Remington 700 and the barrel is superb. It will pump out sub half inch 5 shot groups at 100 yards all day long if I do my part. Breaking up grains so there is more surface area and a faster burn maybe? You're right, something to ponder.

I tried using the vise anvil. Five medium whacks and the bullet popped out as slick as you please.

I have a similar problem with Berger 40gr hollow points in my Remington 700. Ballistic tip bullets chamber fine but the hollow point always get hung up and you have to rattle them around to get them to feed into the chamber. It annoying but its a target gun so it's not that big of a deal.

with a 9 twist barrel you may have trouble with the light bullets no matter what powder you use. Overspinning a bullet can and will cause it to do strange things. Yeah I was afraid of that.
