Email Berger Bullets at bergerltd@aol.com with the cartridge, bullet weight and powder that you will be using and they should be able to send you back some load data.

I'm getting some 40 gr Berger BTHP bullets today and want to try them with my current favorite powder Reloder 10X and IMR 8208XBR. Berger sent me load data for the R10X and it seems really low with the max load at only 22.9 gr. They did not send load info for the 8208XBR. Does anyone have any experi...

I've had to ship my rifle back to Remington twice. Go to your local UPS store and have them box it for you. It's realitively cheap and they do a good job packing it so the gun is protected.

Your right King. I just found 25.1 listed as max on line. I guess Sierra getting a bit chicken in it's old age, or else it's a miss print.

Kingcrawler, according to Sierra's fifth edition reloading manual max load for 39 gr Blitzkings using 10X is 24.4 grains. Did you notice any signs of over pressurization?

I don't have a chrono, but for me velocity is not all that important. I'm just looking for accuracy.

I could not get any decent groups using 39 gr Sierra Blitzkings and IMR 8208XBR so I decided to try using Reloder 10X. I tried loads of 23.1 gr, 23.6 gr, 24.1 gr and 24.6gr. The 24.1 was the most accurate. Five shot group at 100yds.
