Re: any recomended 204 loads for a TC icon Precision Hunter?
I agree that I am chasing my tail on this. But just to clarify, I wasn't changing the seating depth during my load work ups. What I was trying to illustrate was that I cannot safely get these bullets anywhere close to the rifling. I use CCI primers, BR-4's if I have them on hand. I bought a 20"...

any recomended 204 loads for a TC icon Precision Hunter???
I have a TC Icon Precision Hunter in 204 and I am struggling to find a load that will shoot consistently better than 1" at 100yards. If memory serves this rifle should be 1 in 10 twist. I have checked the Max COAL with eight different bullets from different manufacturers ranging from a 26gr Bar...

Re: Am I wrong...........
For example: I purchased an RCBS case master gauge through Trophy's Outdoor because they had the best price I could find online. It has been thirteen days since my card was charged. Never received a confirmation email and have never received the product. I have to wait a full 15 calendar days before...

Re: Am I wrong...........
Gee............. it's nice to see two obviously macho dudes cast accusations toward someone neither of them know absolutely nothing about in real life. My comments were simply directed from the point of view of the other side of the fence. I'm actually on the side of the fence you two are on, but r...

Re: Am I wrong...........
I had a pleasant conversation with customer service about my problem, sent them back 94 loaded rounds and 6 empties. I received 350 40 grain Vmax bullets in return. Now if you can tell me how 350 bullets = 100 loaded rounds you must be on Obama's budget team! LOL!! You mean the brown clown?! ...

Re: Am I wrong...........
Thats just not how I operate. When I am being forcibly plowed from behind against my will by a company, I don't spin around and catch it in the mouth in hopes of getting some extra gratuity(more bullets) from their customer service department. I cut ties and support companies with a better quality c...

Re: concentricity issues
I am not qualified to answer these questions for you but I am very interested to hear from some folks that might be. I bought the RCBS case master gauge that checks neck thickness and concentricty/runout(it is still being shipped to me). I also bought a good dvd called "Advanced Handloading Bey...

Re: Rookie eloading questions
I am not familiar with PCM ammo. I do know that Fiocchi 40 and 50 grn VMAX shoots really well through my riffle which tells me the brass used has to be pretty good. Instead of spending $27 for 50 brass cases from Hornaday or lake city, Think I will go buy several hundred rounds of that Fiochi VMAX a...

Re: Rookie eloading questions
I already have a hornaday lock and load OAL gauge and that is what I used in order to make those longer rounds that I will have to single feed. I had the same opinion that 40 grn would be a bit light until I put it on paper. Up until this point, I have only done three shot groups because I am money ...

Rookie eloading questions
I still do not own a .204 but very recently bought all my reloading equipment for .223 and I have loaded a 120 rounds now. A good portion of my brass is from bulk ammo and the rest from factory stuff that I shot and saved. About 25 percent of the cases I check are shorter the trim to length that my ...

Re: Any Tikka fans out there?
The tikka T3 caught my attention when I saw a video of a guy making some pretty incredible shots on you tube with it. I posted the video in one of my threads but here it is again.

I don't think he includes any load data though unfortunately.
