Re: Want to trade or sell my Diamond for a .204 and or...

I feel for ya man. Been in that same situation (twice!). Takes a long time to get over that crap. Can't change that it happened, so you might as well find some good in the fact that you found out and that you found out prior to giving her the ring... or worse yet, finding out after you got hitched. ...

Are the Wolf primers corrosive? I don't think I've ever seen them on the shelves.

Re: New look for 204 Ruger

I just switched back to the Subsilver2 format. The new format is using up a lot of screen space on the left and right sides of the screen and was making me have to scroll side to side in order to see whole photos some times. The old format stretches completely from left to right and doesn't waste a ...

Re: Favorite Loads

Thanks ya'll. What I did was easy. All the hard work was done by everyone that worked up loads and contributed the info here. While we all know that what works in one rifle might not work in another it is nice to be able to see what components tend to work best. Also, MinotBob deserves most of the c...

Re: Short barreled 10/22

I like it! At first I thought it was an internally suppressed setup.

Let us know how the muzzle brake works out. It looks like a fun rifle. I think if I had it I may have to build a hen house just to LURE some 'coons in!!

Re: Favorite Loads

All updated through page 8. If you open the spreadsheet and look on the bottom you will see a new sheet called Powder Comparison. Click there and you will see a bar graph depicting the powders used compared to each other. I did away with the primer sorted link. Kind of seems unnecessary. Organized b...

Re: Favorite Loads

Thanks jo191145! This is an excel spreadsheet so you'll need Excel or an Excel viewer like Jo mentioned. Actually, DoubleUP... try this. It is in a PDF file. Most people should be able to open a PDF. I guess I have been using Microsoft Office for sooooo long that I just assume everyone else uses it ...

Re: Favorite Loads

Ok, I am going to try and make a contribution to the team here. I noticed that the link for a download-able document back in 2007 (page 4) is long since broken. I am going to attempt to recreate the document and will eventually update it with all the loads since page 4. Currently this is only up to ...

Re: M700 Shilen Competition Rifle Trigger

Can't imagine anything from Shilen to be even kinda off. I'd wager nothing is even slightly wrong.. just different. You are absolutely right. A gentleman over on SnipersHide was nice enough to PM me and explain it to me in great detail. Evidently, not only is there NOT a problem, but it actually re...

M700 Shilen Competition Rifle Trigger

I just recently picked up a Remington 700 SPS Varminter in .204 Ruger. I am not a fan of the new X-mark Pro trigger for many reasons. If they hadn't changed the trigger blade, and if they hadn't started making the trigger and sear out of injected metal I would probably still like it (I am very much ...
