Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14x40 with BDC (SPF)
I have had this scope for about 6 months and haven't used it. It is basically brand new, but without the box. I had it mounted in Leupold QDW rings on my .204 but never took it out shooting. I had planned on using it for a coyote scope. It has absolutely fantastic glass. I would pit it against my Le...
Re: .204 package deal- price drop- 1800.00
One of my favorite things to do is buy big batches of stuff like this, break it apart and resell it and make a few bucks in the process. I see adds all the time on other forums where people refuse to sell scope/rifle separately. I don't get that. I've bought several gun/scope setups locally and made...

Re: What Brass?
What are the problems you fellas are having with WW cases? I use it in five different calibers and have not had any issues at all. In fact it works fantastic. I have one batch of 100 7mm-08 cases that have 20 reloads on them.

Re: What Brass?
I use Winchester for all my brass in all my cartridges. I'm happy with it and will continue to use it in future calibers as well.

Re: More .20 Cal Fun with Oregon Rock Chucks
Awesome photos and report Rick!! Looks like a beautiful day in E. Oregon. I waited for you at the Portland airport this past weekend so that you could bring me that M38, but you never showed up! I was pretty disappointed. Good news is that I placed 2nd in my competition in Washington and w...

Re: cracked neck
Lately, it seems the QA dept of various companies is on vacation. I've opened up one box of 6mm bullets only to find a few 358 cal pills. Quite noticable so no harm other than shorted bulllet count. On another outfit, opened up some bullets labled 107SMK (6mm), only to find 142 SMK (6.5mm). That wa...

Dang Rick. That is one ugly rifle. I am flying into Portland this Friday, you should meet me there and I'll take that ridiculous thing off your hands.

Re: Redfield scopes
You are talking about current models, right? Not the old ones? The new Redfield scopes are owned and manufactured by Leupold right here in the USA. They have great glass and are a good bang for the buck". I am hoping that Leupold expands the options in the Redfield lineup. I'd love to see a Red...

Re: Nikon hath sinned against me
This seems to be an extremely common complaint with the Monarch scopes. It is tarnishing Nikon's good name and I sure hope they get it corrected. As bad as the Monarch seems to be, the Nikon Buckmaster is a very impressive. I have a Buckmaster in the 4.5-14x variety and I would not hesitate for a se...

Re: .204 and Black Wolf
WOW!! That is amazing. We don't get photos like that around here. Usually the animals 'round here tip the scales at around 3lbs.
Absolutely amazing. I think I would have to have something like that mounted. Absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!

Re: what scope?
after owning Leopolds, be careful what you buy because you just might be disappointed. That's kinda what I am worried about. My problem is that I really dont know anything but Leupold. I did get a chance last weekend to shoot my cousins AR with a Nikon Buckmaster on it (not sure what model) and was...

Re: Low Recoil & Big Distance...?
Rules for scopes: The amount of eye relief is determined by the quality of coatings and glass in the tube. I don't know about that one. I would venture to say that the amount of eye relief is determined by the physical orientation of the lenses. (ie, prescription and distance between lenses). Just ...

You could take a look through the SWFA used/demo website.

Sightron
Nikon (not the current Monarchs though, evidently they aren't up to par)
Burris
Bushnell

Just some ideas.
