I'm taking all your input folk's and thank you very much,I havent been to gunsmith yet to see if their is an issue with my firing pin,,but what I did try was shooting my full length resized brass handloads same load,just to see if neck sized was not chambering as snug as it should.Guess what shot tw...

I am using the same lot of powder,,checking the firing pin sounds like a good idea,except I don't know how to do that,,if the piercing persist,,I will try different primer,or factory ammo to see if piercing persist.and if so,I guess I will visit my local gunsmith.

your load is darn close to mine,27.3gr h-4895,wsrp,2.267 col,,,out of my savage model 25, 204ruger,,,,wich I believe is the same barrel dimensions as your's,,and I get great results,,,now I do measure concentricity,and anything over 4thou is used for foulers or close range,,,,what type of runout are...

thank's !! I"m really interested on wether or not I can anchor some coyotes with it. Last night I had one in my sight's,except I thought 408 yards was a little far to experiment,,I anchored a skunk with this load at about 154 yards though last week,,,and I mean ANCHORED,,lol

that 32gr load I did,was on saturday and the 100 meter range is well surrounded by trees,barely a breeze,,when I went back sunday to chrono the load(wich averaged 3677 fps),,and shoot them at the 300meter range,,100m not affectted much by wind,200m about an inch off,300m about 2-3 inches off,,and th...
