Nosler vs Hornady brass

Ok, so how does R-P and W-W brass compare?

Nosler vs Hornady brass

So, is it worth the extra cost to use Nosler brass?

32gr Nosler varmageddon

Just picked up some to test in my VSSF. I have some CFE 223, 8208xbr and RL-10x.
Would anyone have load data they could share to get me started?

QuickLoad Program

I use it. Yes it is pricey, but great software for assisting in load development.

Re: wipe out no lead

Has anyone tried Bore Tech? I have the CU+2 copper remover, C4 carbon remover and the Eliminator products. I also use their cleaning rods and Proof Positive jags and nylon brushes. Seem to work pretty good. I use the carbon remover first, then go after the copper.

Re: wipe out no lead

I have been using the foaming version but find it quite messy. I will give the Patch Out a try.

Re: Where to start?

Great, thanks for the responses. I will try some H4895, Nosler brass and 39gr SBK to start with.

wipe out no lead

What are your methods for using Wipeout? (overnight soaking, 30mins etc)
Do you spray from the chamber end or muzzle?

Where to start?

Hi guys,

I have a M700 VSSF and just getting around to loading for. At the moment it will just be target shooting. What do you suggest for bullet and powder? She has a Burris 8-32 mounted and sits in a Boyd's thumb hole stock. I have Redding Comp neck die set and the Lee Collet to work with.

Re: New rifle

Try the Lee collet dies with the fire formed brass.

Re: which powder

What would be a good powder to try with the lighter bullets? (26gr-32gr)

Re: Coated bullets

Just a followup on this. What is the best method of cleaning the barrel when using WS2?
I have Wipeout and Butches.

Thanks

Re: Burris 8-32x Signature Select

Thanks for the welcome and replies. I ended up getting a set of standard Leupold bases and high rings. She looks purdy now :)
