Dude, I am relaxed. It's beautiful wood.
I hope you have a Merry Christmas as well.

Re: Walnut Custom AR Stock
I said I loved the wood, I just didn't like it on an AR. I do tons of things that no one else likes. Do I care...no. It works for me, or it is something I like. I can tell you like the wood, and it's beautiful work, but that doesn't mean I have to like the application. Or would you prefer I lie to y...

Re: First attempt at 200yrds with my .223, I have some questions
Not bad. If you shot it with the gun as it is pictured you did very well. The front legs attached to the barrel did more to hurt your shooting then anything else. Take those off, get a bag rest and stabilize with the forearm, You might cut that group in half. And then again it may not help at all. B...

Re: New to .204
How do y'all get the flat base bullets seat straight?
I set them by hand, half stroke the ram and reset then finally a full stroke to properly seat them.
Takes awhile, but 1 of 3 will over seat if I don't lift and check before fully seating.
Lee Single stage by the way.

Re: Gun Cleaning ar 204 and others a TIP
I've been using brake-kleen for years. Followed by some powder solvent and finally copper solvent.
Good to see I'm not alone.

I have never called in a yote, but word is they are near so it is just a matter of time. Is a good heart/lung shot gonna drop them or do I need to aim for the head?

Re: New to .204
My barrel is a WOA 22" 1:10, it loves the 26 gr varmint grenades. Not alot of testing yet, but it shot best so far. 40 gr Bergers were next, barely beat by the VG. Factory ammo, I only shot one box of 32gr Hornady vmaxes. They shot good. But not great. They were 1 moa, but the bergers were clos...

Re: Winter .204 activity
I'll be hunting all pred's when I have time, and testing 4 different bullets as time allows. The gun will stay sighted as is for the generic load I'm using til spring.

Looks good!
I put my old 3-9x40 nikon on mine for now. We put a 4-12x40 bushnell dusk to dawn on my sons rifle. It's nice.
I need the light gathering of the lower magnafications, since I'm hunting at night most of the time.

Re: Magazine for AR
I don't know which of my mags will allow a longer COAL. Feeding and reliability far outweigh another 1/10 of and inch group reduction.
I'm not knocking your effort. Most mags are gonna be within 1/100 of each other. Just cuz it goes in the maga doesn't mean it will feed though.
