Re: Lightweight AR 204 barrell
I think is was $365+50 for the. 75" contour. I had it threaded, got a new bolt and stainless low prof gas block. With shipping it was $465. My barrel is 22" long plus the flash suppressor. http://s2.postimage.org/pKM9.jpg Then add $$$ for the upper, ff tube, ect... Oh, and shooting weight ...

Re: My AR keeps popping primers
Only thing I would add is look at the necks of the spent casings, are they cracked? How fat are they? Do they look cocentric? Along with the firing out of battery, I may suspect the chamber is short? Just a wild guess there but as mentioned, you have some serious concerns there. Don't rule out anyth...

Re: To build or not to build, that is the question
I am amazed at the simplicity of design, and ease of assembly every time I try something new, it is easier than I thought. I originally bought RRA stripped lowers and parts kits and assembled myself, using an armorers manual. Then I bought two complete uppers. I did alot of reading before I did any ...

Re: Lightweight AR 204 barrell
I was on the same search months ago. My only recourse was a custom barrel. I received it yesterday. It is stainless, 22", 1:10, threaded for a flash suppressor(I hunt pred's@ night), .8" out to the gas block, .75 after. It took ahwile waiting but I already have 13lb varmint rifle and I did...

Re: One Scope for three rifles
I have a Mueller Varminator, 8.5-25x50 on my 223. Crystal clear, awsome. My debate isn't what scope to put on my 204, it is which Mueller to put on my 204.

Terminal Ballistics
I am curious what bullet/powder combo's you use that do not exit. I shoot groundhogs anywhere from 15 feet to 100 yards, maybe 150. I can usually sneak up pretty close, but it is getting harder to do. I haven't had good luck with anything other than hollow points in my 5.56's and am tunring to the 2...

Re: Reloading for the AR-15
It's not the grain of charge I'm so interested in, as the powder itself. I just wanted to know if certain powders cycled an AR better than others? Even if they are recommended for the .204, would they still not be a good choice for an AR? I haven't recieved my 204 upper yet, however, my (2) 5.56's ...
