Re: Clean burning 204 load?
I am using Benchmark with no issues. Meters well, less temperature sensitive than some powders. Works well in my Cooper and Savage.

Re: Sonic Cleaner or Tumbler
Hi, This is an update to my original post here. I purchased the Thumbler Tumbler and SS media kit from Sinclair International. I followed the directions is the video link below and the brass REALLY looks that good when done. I have run 204 R, 270 Win and 270 WSM as well as nickel plated cases. Resul...

Re: Cooper Rifle Triggers
Thanks. This Cooper is my first non Savage rifle. I have a few Savages with accutriggers and they are so easy to adjust.

Re: Cooper Rifle Triggers
When you are adjusting this trigger pull weight down to 1.5 - 2 lbs., are you just adjusting the trigger pressure screw in small increments? I realize you will still have to check the safety but I was wondering if the desired trigger pulled could be accomplished with this one screw?
Thanks

Re: Coated bullets
Thanks. I found a bottle of Lock Ease in Scheels Ace Hardware in Fargo ND. I did enquire at Sinclairs as to whether they sell the product. I was advised that they had a number of requests for Lock Ease and are looking at bringing it in.

Re: .204 Cleaning Patch Size
Thanks for the suggestions. I am now using the 1.25" circle patches purchased from Sinclair (Brownells...# is 084-268-002) with great results. I would also recommend them if anyone else who may be looking for tight fitting patch.
Thanks

Re: Imperial Dry Neck Lube
Thanks for your help. I picked up the Imperial Dry Neck Lube today and that fixed the sticky expander ball. Ya the 270 has a long neck. I was using the imperial wax on a neck brush with poor results. I still have to polish the expander as suggested by Rick. Thanks

Re: Imperial Dry Neck Lube
Does anyone use the Imperial Application Media? Is the media an alternative to using a brush and Imperial Dry Neck Lube as suggested above. I have a very sticky 270 Win expander ball on a F/L Redding sizing die.
Thanks

Currently, I don't have a tumbler or sonic cleaner for cleaning my brass (yes my fingers cramp from shining brass :) ). I have read some favourable reviews from thoses that use sonic cleaners however, I thought I would get the real goods from the guys here. Given that I don't have a tumbler now shou...

Currently, shooting a Savage M25 and Cooper M21. I am using 39 gr Sierra BK at around 3600 fps with Benchmark powder. I am also using the Lucas bore guides with Butches Bore shine for cleaning. I am using the Cooper for PD shooting. I don't expect to rebarrel the Savage. Just curious as to what the ...
