Re: CLEANING THE ACTION
Hi, Bolt Grease Question: The local Cabela's person advised me that they do not sell bolt grease. Grease collects dust and dirt. He recommended a product called Break Free. The military us this product exstensively for cleaning and lubricating firearms. Cabelas Winnipeg doesn't sell Break Free eithe...

.204 Cleaning Patch Size
Hi, I asked for 20 cal cotton patches at the local outdoor store and was given a bag of small rifle patches. "This fits all small calibre rifles" the kind fellow says. Well they didn't work! After carefully pulling off all the stickers from the bag I noticed the fine print indicates 22 cal...

Re: Coated bullets
I realize the Lock-Eze is a colloidal graphite, so does that mean I can substitute another brand in-place of Lock-Eze? Home Depot, Rona, Canadian Tire and Wal-mart do on carry Lock Eze here but they do carry another product called JIG-A-LOO Graphite lubricant. It is only in the spray can form. It cl...

204 RCBS Trim Pro 3-Way Cutter
Hi, I thought I would ask whether I should invest in one of the above to speed up the brass prep process. Currently I am using the RCBS Trim Pro and manual tools (VLD deburring) to chamfer the edges. I am open to other recommendations to speed up this process.

Thanks
Griffy

Re: Free Recoiling
Quoddy, What is the overal cartidge length with the 39g? Using an empty case with a 39g, closing the bolt, and removing it very carefully, I measured an overal cartridge length of 2.450" touching the lands, repeated the test 3 times. I think Rick is loading to 0.017 off the lands which doesn't ...

Re: 270 WSM
I have a 270 WSM Savage Weather Warrior. The rifle shoots less than 1/2" three shot groups. The shells stack and feed very well, no issues at all. This is a non accustock model and I really like the accutrigger. This stock in nothing great but I will see how the new 270WSM with the accustock sh...
